Konstantin Nikolov

Konstantin Nikolov (Bulgarian: Константин Николов) is a technology journalist at Capital, Bulgaria's leading business weekly. He has written for the paper since 2007, covering the companies, markets, and infrastructure that make up the country's technology economy.

His beat runs from telecommunications — the mobile operators, fixed networks, and media groups that consolidate and compete across the region — to energy markets and the international corporations that shape both. It is, on paper, a heavy brief: balance sheets, regulators, and billion-euro ownership changes. Nikolov's reporting makes it readable.

He is also a familiar voice on stage. For more than a decade he has interviewed founders, executives, and technologists at Digitalk, Capital's annual technology conference — most recently on how artificial intelligence is reshaping work, education, and the businesses that adopt it.
